OUR JOURNEY
Panchvati Supermarket’s journey began in 2004, built on hard work, perseverance, and a strong belief in serving the community with honesty and care.
Our founder, Mr. Bipin Patel, along with his wife Meena Patel, immigrated to Canada in 2002. Like many newcomers, Mr. Patel began from the ground up, working at a rice mill for two years and gaining valuable hands-on experience in the food industry. With determination, resilience, and the support of his family, he opened the first Panchvati Supermarket store in Scarborough in 2004.
What started as a single neighbourhood store soon grew into a trusted destination for quality groceries and authentic Indian products. Over time, Panchvati evolved into a strong, family-run business. Mr. and Mrs. Patel were joined by their son Dhruv, daughters Ria and Khushboo, and son-in-law Chirag, each contributing fresh ideas, modern systems, and a shared commitment to excellence.
Together, the family expanded Panchvati Supermarket to 8 locations, while also establishing

Today, Panchvati Supermarket continues to grow, with more stores in the pipeline, while staying true to the values it was built on — family, trust, hard work, and community.
